Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Joyous New Year
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a joyous New Year to all our friends, family, clients and vendors. We wouldn’t be here without you!
Matt’s Free!
Thank you to everyone who contributed! You helped Mirus Group raise $1,735 for bail! With your generous donations, Matt is out of jail and we helped send two very deserving kids to the Rochester Sunshine Campus for a whole week through the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Additional funds are going to research and crucial services to families in the Rochester area.
It was a great event at Pomodoro and exciting to see many local businesses contributing to make the day a success.
It turns out the only thing Matt was guilty of was wanting to help some great kids and support the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Busted – Matt’s Going Into Lockup!
We’ve been busted! Managing Partner Matthew Garrity is going to jail to help out the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). As one of Mirus Group’s Most Wanted, he’s going into the lock up and needs your help to post bail.
The rest of Mirus Group would enjoy the peace and quiet, but we’d really feel badly about Matt missing Christmas. Can you help us with a donation of $25 (or more!) to get him out from behind bars?
Matt’s arraignment is at 11am on December 6th, so let’s raise as much as we can before then!
Let’s help the MDA provide crucial services to families in the Rochester area! Checks can be made out to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) but you can also donate online on Matt’s jailbird page. Search for the name Matthew Garrity here: http://www2.mda.org/site/TR?fr_id=1770
This “bail money” will go to research, group support, and Summer Camps for those affected by this disease.
Row Row Row Your Boat
Here are a handful of fun shots from our sun-drenched trip last Friday. Happy Summer and Happy Fourth of July!
4th of July Kayak Attack!
Mirus Group is busting out of the office early today – a Summer-drenched treat to go exploring the Irondequoit Bay creek waterways. Our kayaks are loaded and ready and we’re set to fend off any marauding swans or beavers. And if you don’t hear from us for the rest of the day, we might just be celebrating at MacGregor’s.
Happy Hosts
We’ve just had another great design group from Nazareth College come through Mirus Group. We’re so glad to be able to be part of the local community and shed some light on the design industry for these up-and-coming designers. Cathy Kirby brought a large group of Nazareth graphic design students to our offices for an engaging discussion of the men and women “behind the curtain.”
The 20 or so students asked great questions about working with clients, what we like to see in portfolios, different aspects of the creative marketing process (from concept drawing and illustration to full design and production), and even some questions about websites and market research. We were very impressed with the breadth of curiosity and inquisitiveness of the group – hopefully we gave them some useful answers!
Now that three of the creatives here at Mirus Group are Nazareth Alumni, we’re honored to be able to continue to interact not only with the next generation of designers but also our alma mater. Thanks Cathy!
This has been the third group of Nazareth design students that have visited our offices. We couldn’t be more pleased to be involved!
MG – Mirus Group or Mardi Gras?
Happy Fat Tuesday! We can just about see a change in season around the corner and we can just about see things starting to grow again. Thanks for sticking with us through the winter. You’ll be amazed to see what we come up with this Spring. We’ve seen more action than a parade float in the Big Easy with malfunctioning brakes at the top of a hill. Mirus Group is bustling and busy with great new creative clients and projects. Let’s get together and do some more!
We’re Even Famous(er)!
See? Our PR works. Just Google Gloria Kreitzberg and you’ll see her all over the Internet. She’s even tired of reading about herself! Word is spreading around Rochester like wildfire. We can help you get this much exposure and more! See also the Democrat & Chronicle website and various other local print publications.
